Dr. Cynthia Edwards-Hawver, Psy.D is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience. Her specialty areas include eating disorders, hypnosis, infertility/adoption, Lyme disease, and high-level coaching for moms over 40. Dr. Hawver is a graduate of Cornell University, Wright State University, and completed her internship at The Pennsylvania State University. She has a thriving private practice in Northeast PA helping hundreds of clients a year live their best lives.
Dr. Hawver has appeared as a guest expert on WVIA/PBS television and Newswatch 16. She was featured in the Scranton Times as “The New Coach In Town,” was a guest on Word of Mom Radio, and has her own podcast called “Mama Shrink.” Additionally, she has been a featured speaker for employees of Proctor and Gamble, Prudential, Lyme disease organizations, and the Scranton Chamber of Commerce, and was a finalist for three Sage Awards through the Scranton Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Hawver is currently working on finishing her book, running her thriving private practice, and coaching high functioning mamapreuners to create work/life balance (love being a mom while taking care of themselves). She lives in Northeast, PA with her husband of 24 years, two boys, and rescue puppy.
